Hello Peregrine readers,
I have received a couple of messages asking when the next blog contest would be. Are you ready???
For those who didn’t witness our last Poetry contest, the 14th of December initiated the Maiden edition of The Peregrine Reads Poetry Blog Contest entitled “12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS POETRY CHALLENGE”, which ran through the 14 till the 25th of December.
Catch up on the #12DAYSOFCHRISTMAS Moments here….
The #12DAYSOFCHRISTMAS Poetry contest was organised to challenge enthusiastic Poets and writers to stir their creativity towards the season of Christmas. It was a poetic battle between 12 Unique Contesting poets who gave in their absolute best! It was terrific, memorable, fun and most especially, successful!
Meet the winning poet of last year’s contest, as judged by a three person panel of judges made up of:
I) Noel Ihebuzor
II) Luciano Uzuegbu
III) Emeka Nobis
It was indeed a December to remember!
In full anticipation, I’m more than excited to announce to you that another contest is soon set to come your way, in the spirit of Nigeria’s fast approaching Independence day Celebration, 1st October –So get your inking pens ready!
Call for submissions would be published before the end of the week with full information as to the mode of entry, thematic concept of the poem; deadline for submissions, mode of voting, and of course, an “undisclosed” free gift for the first three winners! Yes, three winners are getting free-giveaways this time!
