Her eyes twinkle with hope and passion…
Her endless smiles filled with so much innocence and sincerity…
Her heart, open and full with love…
Her arms hug with so much purity and trust…
Her mouth speaks with so much faith…

Then, the world turns against her innocence
Or she sees a glimpse of what it really is…
She’s hurt, disappointed and a little broken…

Her not so naive eyes still twinkle with hope
Her rare smiles, still full of sincerity
Her not so open heart still has so much love to give
Her fleeting hugs still linger…
Hoping for a glimmer of purity…

Then the world hits again…
Breaking all her armor now
Her eyes are engraved with disappointment …

Her once sincere smiles, replaced by a fake resemblance
Her heart, a cryptic mess partnered with distrust
She finally sees the world for what it is
That it is far from a wish-granting factory
She unknowingly builds up walls…

She disguises her feelings to safe guard her sanity
And in rare moments, when she wants to learn to trust again,
She is again shattered, by pieces of her broken self.
