Happy New Year Peregrine readers!
It’s the 4th day of 2017 and still not looking bad for the start of a new year. Trusting you had a great wrap for 2016. Guess it’s not too late to wish you a very happy and prosperous year filled with goodness and tireless passion!
It’s been quite a slow one on the blog last year but this year promises to be much more active and engaging especially as plans for the next #CHILDHERO short story competition is brewing fast. Please keep tabs for it because you will receive updates soon!
So quickly, as part of the new year positive Nuggets, here’s one from Melody Beattie:
“Make New Year’s goals. Dig within, and discover what you would like to have happen in your life this year. This helps you do your part. It is an affirmation that you’re interested in fully living life in the year to come. Goals give us direction. They put a powerful force into play on a universal, conscious, and subconscious level”.
Have you started setting goals, and plans and even resolutions for the new year? Have you started recognizing the areas you may have lapsed in your life in the past year and how to attract growth to these areas? Surprisingly, we make so much resolutions and plans every new year but fall flat after a few weeks. But this shouldn’t discourage you!
Here’s one from me to you:
While others are basking in the bloated joys of the new year and the many imaginary ‘newness’ and resolution it promises, here’s specially for you who may be ‘clueless’ and filled with fear as to what lies ahead. You bear a significant importance to humanity. You exist to complete the mold. Each step you take, great or little is important to your self-growth and success. Don’t be hard on yourself when things don’t go right or when the journey seems tough. You have not just one extra year but an entire lifetime to keep trying until you get it right. Please be good to yourself by keeping hope alive always. It’s not about the new year. It’s about you! You Matter! Have a very Happy New Year & Cheers to a greater year and a greater you!
