“She’s just some random girl”, that’s what you tell your friends When they come around,
But When those friends fail you, she sticks to you like glue,
You lie to her and the hurts you cause her so much she lost count,
So deep the love she has for you,
Her heart So merry she hardly notices your broken promises.
Then she snapped and it all came to a halt,
The showered love and affection were no more,
The random embraces and kisses had ceased,
Her eyes were wild and cold, void of emotions and warmth,
She had come to the realisation that she was being taken for granted,
That the love she gave wasn’t reciprocated.
She could see it all, the reason why her friends were never in support of her lover.
Thank heavens she never picked him over them, it would have been a disaster!!!
So she rose from it all,
She pulled up her beauty and the dignity she had left,
She shook off the dust from her garment,
Faced the mirror and said to herself,
I Am a beauty to behold, my inner beauty radiates so much that it gives life to the lifeless,I deserve the very best.
She took all she had left and moved ahead…
