I thought of words to write
That can magnify with great delight
The myriad of ways you’ve been a friend
But maybe I may never comprehend…
You’ve seen the best and the worst side of me
Through life’s challenges and uncertainties
As through the good and blossom memories
We’ve stayed swinging like summer trees …
Walking down memory lane, you came through
There was us drooling and laughing like fools
Scouting for the quandaries and breaking all the rules
There was us, fitting into each other’s’ shoes…
But life became frantically serious,
With bigger dreams and longer journeys to cross
And years have gone recording the gains and loss
But six plus seven years been gone, and there’s still us!
Same old friends, same old sisters….
Same old clowns, same old fools…
from teenagehood to adulthood…
And this is a fact that I can’t overrule,
–You’re that special and true!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Amazing Friend Juliet Nnaemeka. Words alone cannot express, but this is from my flowing ink to you…..For an Amazing friend as YOU!
