Consume the sun, let it burn!
Let the skies mourn the loss of its son
Let the world go dark, like a menace in return
Let the Ocean tremble like a sin atoned
Let the sleeping storms think of a detour

Consume the sun, let it burn!
Let the walls of the earth lose its grip
Let the birds in the sky go on a trip
Let the animals in the forest, themselves rip
And all the thrones be swept off its kings

Consume the sun, let it burn!
Let the trees prostrate and dance for you
Let the sailor see the break-out from a tiny view
Let holocausts fill the air like drops of morning dew
Let lovers in fear adjourn their lives in their rooms

Consume the sun, let it burn!
Let all born of a woman resort to her chest
Let both young and old seek their cradle crest
Let every dark secret, be made manifest
Let lost souls go back to their home of rest

O’ sons and daughters of the soil
Consume the sun; your fears let it destroy!
Let it ignite your being and the star in you bring
Let the tales of your might be told by the winds…
Dance to the harp as the master plays on the strings
For whatever your will, the Universe brings to peace!
