Jos based spoken word poet, Patience Andrew fondly called ‘AP’ believes that to fix the world, there is a need for an awakening in the collective consciousness of all humans, and that this awakening can only come if we continuously expose our minds to the truth. The poet strongly believes that spoken word poetry is irrevocably one of the tools to bring about such an awakening.
Patience Andrew, who is seemingly the first Spoken Word artist in Jos, Plateau State to embark on this stride, is very positive and filled with strong hopes that her album will strengthen the love and importance of poetry and literature in Nigeria and among young female Spoken Word Poets in Africa.
Other details of Album launch will follow shortly.
The date remains:
19th of November 2016…
Way to go, AP!
